St Veronica is proud to participate in the Arlington Diocese NVCYO basketball program.  Our CYO basketball program is for grades 3 - 8 and for all skill levels. Basketball is a winter sport and runs through the months of November through March. Placement in the program is based on registration date, first come first served and availability of coaches. Follow the links below to register for the 2023 - 2024 program. 

Information

Basketball runs from November - March with games starting in December.  3 placement games place the teams into their respective divisions.  Regular season games start up in January and run into March.

Team Formation

Teams are formed based on availability of coaches and numbers of players registered.  Players will fill teams on a first come first serve basis and in consultation with the head coaches.  If not enough players are available to form a full team, there is the possibility of playing up to fill out a team.  If a team fills up and there are not enough registrants to create a second team, there is the possibilty of a player not being placed and a refund being provided.  It is strongly recommended to register early to ensure your child's spot on a team!

St Veronica participates in the Arlington Diocese NVJCYO league.  The rules are maintained by the league.

Team Managers

In addition to assistance with score keeping and scoreboard help, each team will look to have a Team Manager volunteer parent to facilitate uniform coordination, paperwork, QuikClub communication with parents and any other administrative tasks to help the coaches focus on the teaching the game.
